Coach said at the knockout tournament there is only one scholarship available. I assume he meant that Bubu is getting one. Bubu deserves it. He should be rewarded. Anyways, I would rather have pelle because he gives the team some much needed size and (hopefully) four years of elegibility, academic foucus and draft pending. It's a long shot, and I don't really see it happening. I bet one of the guards take it, futhering the depth at a posistion that is already deep.

I think the fact that some people thought he wasn't talking about bubu was what was being mocked.

Look...he LOOKS like a heck of a player, BUT I don't know how that will translate to the Big 12.

I do know that Lockett can play Big 12 ball and contribute. He has proven as much at this level.

We wouldn't be recruiting 3 players for sure and probably more if we were planning on giving Bubu a scholarship.

That's weird, I wonder why they have offered so many guys in the 2013 class? Must be scrapping the whole team and starting over.

I will bet anyone all my credits that bubu doesn't get a scholly with some strange circumstance such as someone leaving the team mid-season.

The speculation is strong in this thread. Whatever happens, I think Bubu deserves a scholarship even if it isn't the best thing for the team right now. Fred is a good guy and he wants to reward Bubu, if he does or not will be yet to be determined.
