Uthoff is looking unlikely, IMO. I'd say no better than 20% chance. That probably means we're done in recruiting.

Pelle is still a long shot, but when you factor in that he has not visited and is very likely not going to be eligible, he's maybe a 5-10% chance.

I'm not aware of any other players that we are seriously recruiting that are showing interest in us.

He's making sure because he can't transfer again. I'd do the same. We obviously didn't blow him away but I didn't expect us to. He already turned us down once. I like our chances just fine.

As long as he doesn't end up at Iowa I don't care. He isn't a can't miss player. He'd be nice to have but we are fine without him.

If Uthoff wants to go to Iowa and experience 4 years of mediocrity, then so be it. Wisky, ISU, Florida, and Creighton all won games this year in the NCAA Tourney. Iowa didn't even make the tourney. If he goes there, he will get what he deserves.

Pretty sure this also went for Iowa State football not more than a year or two ago. Except it was a pop, hot dog and a ticket for $10.

He's going to a JUCO and then to Iowa if Fran will have him. Some on this board better be ready to accept that. I predict it's going to get ugly around here.

I hope DhaChean is right, it would suck to go 0'fer on the trail this spring, especially losing one to Iowa or possibly McDermott.

I'm more than happy to accept it because, while it would be awesome to get him, Uthoff is not going to make or break this program, but the amount of venom he'd get from the crowd if he suits up for Iowa will be more than worth the price of admission the two years he'd have to play in Hilton.

He must either be a real flake or an ego-maniac then. Taking visits to 4 D1 programs after transferring from another D1 program, just so he can go JUCO for a year and then transfer to another JUCO after that. Either way, I couldn't care less if he comes to ISU or Iowa.

That's a good point. Iowa just seems improbable, but there's still a chance.

All things considered, it'd be nice to land him just to fill out this class as well as having a few years of eligibility.

I'm OK wherever he ends up. I'd love to have him but only if he really wants to be here. His next school will be chosen after, what seems like, plenty of research.
