    After this years NBA Draft

    If things go as the projections stand and Royce gets drafted in the first round:

    Iowa State will have more 1st round draft picks then Iowa (Currently both have 8)
    Iowa State will have had a draft pick every other year since 2004.

    I know this site counts Taylor but I'm not complaining.

    Being in Cedar Falls the following discovery made me smile.

    Some on this site are so obsessed about Iowa it's annoying. Face it, Iowa has a better history in both bball and fball, and a much larger fan base in the state. That doesn't mean we can't enjoy our ISU teams without having to qualify everything vs Iowa. It is really a little brother syndrome many in our fan base have, and it's really starting to annoy the heck out of me!

    We can take control of the state. Think about this: 10 years ago, Michigan was the bigger fan base in Michigan. Now they lose to Michigan State every year in both football and basketball

    Pretty incredible to have someone in draft every year since 2004, when you consider that since then, we have only made 2 tournaments, our conference record is 48-82 and only twice have we finished higher than tied for 7th in the B12. I would guess any other teams that can say that would have fared much better on the court.
