If I remember correctly he had soccer scholarship offers that he turned down to walk on and play BB at ISU. And that wasn't just considering it, he actually did it.
On second thought, don't answer that question. There has been enough Bubu bashing on this board.

Re: Visit Dates
Uthoff seems very confused about life right now. I think if he did come to ISU he's obviously not bleeding cardinal and gold. I think he should go to a Creighton or Iowa and be a nice little role player for three years. He just doesn't seem to have motive or something. I'm just getting bad vibes.

Honestly I think if Iowa wasn't on his restricted list he would have signed already with them. He's having a tough time deciding who is his second favorite though plus the issue with either playing for free or paying is probably confusing him a little as well. Honestly though If you are that big of an Iowa fan I don't see how you could even consider playing for Iowa State.

He doesn't come across as a guy that you want with the ball in the last 5 seconds of a tie game. He just seems kind of wishy washy. Of course, I've never met him. :)
He may turn out to be a clutch time stud.

But in that sense, if Uthoff does go to Iowa, he will be on scholarship in the next year.
I think he's dumb, mainly because that's my opinion, and the fact that he's considering paying for college, to go to Iowa.
nallen34 is right. He wanted to play basketball, not soccer. So he walked on to his favorite basketball team. Uthoff wants to play basketball. If he wants to play basketball, and he doesn't have to pay to do so, WHY PAY?

Re: Visit Dates
What did Creekmur decide? I know he's walking on for football but I thought I heard rumors of him doing both. With already 3 walkons I assume there is no way he's on the Bball team.
