I think with Korie and Naz running the point, we will really be able to run. Both can go at a really quick speed and Korie's change of direction is incredible!

Re: Williams Blog: CCL Jottings from 6-20

Lucious is everything advertised lightening quick incredible handles with an ankle breaking cross over. Babb was tough as usual. the freshman look better than advertised. dorsey walker is very athletic and plays long. he has a great outside shot and pretty good off the bounce. body is similar to DG but he's a freshman. Naing and Long are good players who should get good minutes. This mcgee is all over the court with a very good three point shot. bubu is a scholarship player. Percy Gibson looks like he added 15-20 lbs and has a good mid range game.. this team Will remind you of Missouri this last year very quick and shoots the three ball well. they have the potential to be a lot better team than last years with more balanced play...

Sorry, Chris. I have a one way ticket on the Georges Niang hype train, and I've locked the doors behind me. WhoooWhooo

^ This, national championship or bust.

    Chris,

Realistically how many National Titles do you see Niang giving us?

I will disagree with one thing. I think Long is thicker than DG was as a FR (maybe even now). SDW is built along those lines, but man he does have a soft jumper.

Korie looked great. He plays hard also. Once, after his guy made a pass, he just kept on him looking right in his face. He plays with attitude.

And Long does so also. He is really in shape and plays much stronger than I expected. Once after Brackins made a move for a nice shot and basket, it looked like Long came up to him to give him some advice about passing the ball to him next time!
