Summer League Cyclones
With today being the last day of the summer league (Expect Brackins to play 20+) I decided to look and see how all the Cyclones did. (And then I decided to post some links here) Royce White - Houston
Video - Rockets vs. Kings | NBA.com
He started out a little slow in games 1-2 but turned it up in 3-5.
Averaged - 8.4 Points, 3.6 Boards, 3.6 Assists in 25.4 Minutes
Best game - 11-10-7 on 4-6 shooting and 3-4 from the line Diante Garret - Phoenix
Video - Knicks vs. Suns | NBA.com
Came out big in game 1 but minutes dried up in the remaining 4 games.
Averaged - 4.6 Points, 1.4 Boards, 2.6 Assists in 16.4 Minutes
Best Game - 8-4-10 on 4-7 shooting with 3 steals and only 2 TO's Craig Brackins - Boston
Video - Brackins' Banger | NBA.com
Craig rarely saw the floor in games 1-4, 6-7 but in over 20 mins in games 5, 8, 9 he averaged 13 points on just under 50% shooting but threw up mostly 3's
Averaged - 2 Points, 0.8 Boards, 0.2 Assists in 7 Minutes in 5 Orlando Games
Averaged - 8 Points, 2.3 Boards, 0.3 Assists in 16.3 Minutes in 4 Vegas Games (so far)
Best Game - 15-6 on 6-11 shooting 3-7 from 3 with 2 steals a block in 24 minutes Scott Christopherson - Portland
Scott unfortunately only saw action in 2 games
Averaged - 5 Points, 1 Boards, 0.5 Assists in 15 Minutes (shot 50% from 2 and 3)
Best Game - 5-2-1 in 17 minutes
Hopefully he can land himself a good spot in Europe or in the D-League (Energy?)

Re: Summer League Cyclones
He could still frequent Mickeys if he lands on the Energy!

Re: Summer League Cyclones
Hate to say it but I think Brackins will be nothing more than a D-League player till he gets a means streak and learns to play in the post more. At 6-10 230 he has the frame to put on another 10-20 pounds if he works at it and even at his current weight he still has the tools to play PF if he would work on being more than a spot up 3 point shooter.
I was not much of a DG fan up until his senior season but I hope he can find a way to catch on as someone's 2nd or 3rd PG as I think his height and skill set would be a big help to someone needing some bench depth.
Royce has a great opportunity in Houston barring they don't make some kind of big trade or something. With Scola now gone there should be a lot of minutes and opportunity at PF.
I love Scotty's game but it just won't translate to the NBA. He's not athletic or tall enough but good shooter like him can make a good living playing overseas.
