Koenig has always been higher-rated than Thomas. Early on, he was thought to be one of the best - if not THE best - in the WI '13 prep class.

The last Rivals rankings, done prior to July and before anyone at Rivals (i.e. Eric Bossi) had even seen MT play, in person:

Koenig - 62
Thomas - 104

I'll be interested to see the new rankings when they come out. Couple weeks, IIRC.
