Despite having the lowest percentage of returning possessions from last season in the conference (44%), and only 4% of possessions last year played by freshmen, ISU is projected to go 10-8 in the Big 12, thanks to incoming T100 players Niang and Lucious, and a relative value of returning offensive players (including incoming transfers) that is tops in the conference and among the best in the country.
This is good stuff for the folks who, like me, like the numbers.
funny thing is I was slightly dissappointed when I saw we were projected as the 5th place team in the Big 12... and that is a testiment for how far Coach Hoiberg has brought this program in only two years.

Its kinda nice being able to have high expectations and not just hoping to be competitive in the conference games and not blown out like i was before Hoiberg came back.
5th is probably about right. We will have to work real hard to pull above that with the influx of talent in the conference next season.
