That makes the most sense to me.

Regardless I don't think it will matter since more than likely he won't be playing 4 years of college basketball. He will more than likely leave for the NBA or some type of professional career before he is a senior in college i would assume based off his academic background thus far.

He got his GED at Chipola, and then immediately enrolled in college courses there. So, if I understand the info out there on twitter, he'll be playing as a freshman at Chipola this fall.

They might mess up the chemistry we have but I don't see any problem adding a proven PG that averaged 13 ppg and 4 apg in a major conference. Also he would be a RS Jr which next year. We will need all the upper classmen we can get, especially when conference play rolls around.

I know how it works and I'm just not a fan of trying to integrate a guy at that time. No biggie. Fred has proven pretty good at working in new faces but i'm still not a fan.

If that doesn't work out though Clayton Custer would be a great sign for us; plus we would get him for 4 years compared to only getting Maurice Jones for a year and a half.

Re: Dustin Hogue commits
If we could get Chris Thomas, that would be amazing. A serious guard threat from all angles. I would love a big man, but I would never turn down a 4-5 star, ranked player. Talent is talent.

We could go 4 guards at times ala Mizzou with the guards that we'd have.

Re: Dustin Hogue commits
I prefer that we bring Maurice Jones in next year for two full years. My comment wasn't against him it was against half-year guys. He could be the experienced guard that takes over for Kori and have two years left. SDW didn't tweet about him for nothing.

Where did you hear that he is at junior college not playing basketball this season so that he can be eligible to play division 1 again right away for the 2013-14 season?
Also say he wasn't enrolled at a junior college and didn't go to school for the 2012-13 school year; would that count as sitting out a year so that he could play division 1 again for the 2013-14 season?
