If you want to see the games bad enough you can see the games...Sounds good to me!

For live events you can set the stream to be lower quality if you don't have the bandwidth for HD. One of my biggest complaints about Cyclones.TV is that archived stuff is all HD, so it gets really stuttery if you have a bad connection. But for live events that isn't an issue.

Re: Is there no games on Mediacom and or CTN this year?
I'm a huge, huge fan of cyclones.tv, but I do see a few issues (that hopefully get resolved in the next few years).
*some fans don't subscribe to an ISP that is fast enough
*lack of DVR-ability is kind of a pain
*using an HDMI cable, instead of an app that's available (for example I use a sony blu-ray, and I can get amazon, netflix, youtube, pandora, etc. but if I want cyclones.tv i'm out of luck).
i appreciated the complexities and financial constraints invloved to resolve those issues, but i fully expect internet driven content to be the future of college sports on tv. the days of turning on the local channel are long, long gone and not coming back.

The only somewhat reasonable speed internet is a cell modem through Verizon or US Cellular (this requires a Yagi antenna to great a reasonable signal). Even if these could support the speed requirements for on-line viewing, the data charges really can go high.
Haven't really talked to anyone who has had great success with satellite internet.
Any ideas? Is Prairie Inet still around? I was thinking they offered some decent speeds but would also require some sort of antenna.
It certainly does suck for people who lose something they used to have but such is the nature of change.

Are there any other schools doing this? Be interesting to see how it has worked for the school and fans.
