Me neither. He was very effective off the bench last year, as was Ejim after he lost his starting spot.

McGee will come off the bench. Spark guy and he doesn't mind the role.

IF McGee starts, here is the likely lineup

    Lucious
    McGee
    Babb
    Clyburn
    Ejim

that is pretty small...sure it could work for stretches against smaller teams but against the Big 12 that will struggle.

    My guess is

    Lucious
    Babb
    Clyburn
    Ejim
    Booker

to start the year...with Gibson replacing Booker for the big 12

I'm excited about the idea of Lucious, Babb, Clyburn, Ejim and Niang starting. So we are small, there aren't that many huge post players anymore, you can make up for those matchup problems with team defense.

But that lineup would be DEADLY on offense, it would create huge matchup problems on that end of the court.

Up for grabs. Booker, Gibson, Niang all in the mix RT @KyleKubiak2: @coachotz starting 5?
I can't wait to see Niang on the floor. Gibson was pretty good for a freshman last year, says a lot that Niang is challenging him for a starting spot.

If Niang beats out Percy for a starting spot, it will be through rebounding and defense, IMO. Both appear to be skilled offensively, but whoever grabs the most rebounds will likely be the starter if I had to guess.
