    "Baby Face" Percy Gibson

    He is a man.

    That is all.
“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.”

I feel like Percy needs a nickname because he's such an anomaly at ISU. Smooth lefty big guy, decent hook. If his pickup lines are half as smooth as his post moves, I'm sure he does well with the ladies, too.

I always thought there was a chance that Percy's and Georges' game would really compliment each other with Percy scoring primarily with the left and Georges from the right but both really able to score from either side. Also saw Georges effective in the high post feeding Percy in the low post. Going to be fun to watch.

Like a lot of left handers, Percy is very very left handed.

    Re: "Baby Face" Percy Gibson

I know it's stupid to look forward to 2014-15, but we could be pretty special that year:

    SR- Percy, Jones, Hogue
    JR- Naz, Niang, Okoro
    So- Matt Thomas, Monte

Plus we hopefully will land 2 big time 2014 guys.

***Edit- forgot about SDW. Can't sell him short by any stretch.

Not saying Niang is as good a passer as Royce yet, but he is definitely going to make up for some of the assists we lost with him leaving. He delivers the ball where it needs to be quickly and efficiently. Really polished for a player in his first game.

Next year isn't going to be as bad as everyone thinks with those players either. We'll probably add a frontcourt player or two before then as well.

SDW could end-up being very good as well.

Need to add a top-notch big man and/or wing. Hopefully a transfer like White, as all that roster is missing is that clear mismatch player that all championship teams seem to have.

    Re: "Baby Face" Percy Gibson

Percy is a very good scorer. He needs to add a signature post move to his game IMO. Right now, all he has is putting his right shoulder into the defender. That's going to cause some offensive fouls. Good game by him though, he will be a monster before he leaves Ames.

    Re: "Baby Face" Percy Gibson

Percy is the most skilled offensive player on the floor, It was that way last year when he played as well. His defense looks to be improved this year, I expect him to lead this team in scoring not Clyburn.

Percy still reminds me of a slimmer Big Vic. Same super smooth post moves.

So what you mean is he needs to add a secondary post move.

Not sure I agree, he tends to score with a variety of release points and good footwork. He has a great ability to get a shot off.
