    Las Vegas Tournament

I'm sure there have been threads about this before but I can not find them. How many people are going to Vegas for the tournament? Is there going to be any football game watch before, i.e Hooters? And what is the best avenue for getting tickets. I think I saw 38 bucks for balcony seats. Thanks!

Don't want to get off topic from what you are asking but since there is a thread about this tournament I thought I'd ask a question as well. Game 1 against cincinnati is on CBS Sports Network while game 2 against UNLV/Oregon is TBA. Do you guys think the second game will be on TV?

Only if we win, if we lose it won't be...

So no one really responded but I found a good source for tickets, but are there going to be many ISU fans out there? I know there is football but maybe some others are going to make it out. Heard the Hard Rock is the best place to watch the football win and then walk to the Mack.

Looks like kazemi the 6'7 forward rice transfer now playing for Oregon. He got a waiver to play immediately. Averaged 12 ppg and 10 rpg. This isn't good for UNLV or for us if we would have to play them in the second round.

Yeah, I'm going down with some family. We're not sure where to watch the game either. It'd be great to at least have a few ISU fans at the same place. We already got our tickets in the mail, and I didn't order them, so I'm not sure I can help you there.

FYI - Kazemi had 5pts, but did have 9 boards in the Clones beatdown of Rice last year... Hopefully he guarded Babb some too considering he droped 26 and was 7/11 from downtown.

He will be playing with better players with a year more experience under his belt. I'm sure he will average close to a double double at Oregon

I will be attending the games with another 10 family and friends. Someone had T-shirts made for us all that say Iowa State on the front and Niang 31 on the back. We should be easy to spot I would think.

Apparently on other websites Hard Rock is the closest to the Mack arena and a good sports book. I know I plan on going there as it sounds like there will be a handful or too of us clones running around.

    Re: Las Vegas Tournament

Interested all 3 teams in that coaching triangle all in Vegas at the same time....Altman with Oregon, GMac with Creighton and Our very own CFH with Iowa State....

Without Oregon taking Altman then ISU still be stuck with GMac....

All 3 coaches with the 3 teams are all great fits...
