Re: Royce White headed to D-league??
If he is out of shape there is zero excuse for that, does he have no one in his life to explain to him he can't miss practice?

Re: Royce White headed to D-league??
Hopefully the freakin coach Kevin McHale taking a break at the same time as RW keeps his tenure in Houston from being over before it started.
No clue why the D league won't start until 10 days after Thanksgiving this year. But he needs to go there and play at this point and wait for an injury/opportunity. I can't see him being accepted by his teammates right now.
Paul Peirce is looking long in the tooth maybe McHale wants to hook his buddy Ainge up again? I know the Celtics were very interested in Royce and given the two picks they had back to back (Sully and Fab Melo) I got to think they take RW with one of them if he's there it sounded like Ainge was high on him. Lots of flying playing in Boston though.

Royce White @Highway_30 I'm most definatelynot AWOL... There are many things here ppl don't know, #Honesty is what I'm sticking with. @HoustonRockets "Luke 12:3" Royce White @Highway_30 Problem goes back WAY before D-League assignment. This about#Consideration and #Health it isn't about Rebounds & Money.

Re: Royce White headed to D-league??
Full statement from Royce White: In hindsight, perhaps it was not a good idea to be open and honest about my anxiety disorder, due to the current situations at hand that involve the nature of actions from the Houston Rockets. As a rookie, I want to settle into a team and make progress; but since preseason the Rockets have been inconsistent with their agreement to proactively create a healthy and successful relationship. At this point the Rockets are aware of my position and the reason for my absence. Any other response is inaccurate. This is important to me. It is a health issue. I must advocate for my rights. It is a player-commodity league. The failure to meet my requests for support will end with me being unhealthy and that is not a consequence that I am willing to accept to play any sport. ∞ -

He needs to just get off of social media and get in the gym. I'll admit I don't know everything about anxiety disorders but in no way being online tweeting about this situation is going to solve/help anything. Best of luck in getting back to what you do best Royce. CyclONE NATION is behind you!

Re: Royce White headed to D-league??
This will not end well for Royce.
Whether Houston is living up to their end of the deal or not, they win this PR battle. It's pretty simple:
1) They can say "we support Royce," and they are saying that. As far as we know, they're living up to things.
2) Guy isn't showing up to work, and trashes his employer in public. That's usually not a good strategy.
3) Fans stick with their team, not the guy that hasn't been off the bench yet.
4) Other teams are paying attention, and they can find guys without these problems.
I don't like this at all. I want the best for Royce, and I'm hoping that this isn't it.

Certainly there is no hunting like the hunting of man and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never really care for anything else thereafter. -
