(Still devils advocate role here) OK. Put yourself in Royce's shoes now. What, specifically, could you possibly want from the Rockets?

But by gong this year, at least he was able to get drafted high and get guaranteed million(s).

I would be ****** too if I had to ride a bus for 12+ hours to sit on the bench.

(Still devils advocate role here) This is a good discussion but again: Employer has moral obligations to accomodate these issues to a reasonable degree but are not obliged to fully accomodate these issues. If employer thinks "OK, this is the best we want to do (not what we can do): take it or leave it. The ball is on the employee's court whether to live with it or not.

They are covering their *** so they can say, "well atleast we tried."

Maybe they have finally drawn the line in the sand with regards to accommodations.

Re: Royce White Trending on Twitter tonight
right or wrong, if NBA management and coaches have issues working with White, does this affect the NBA relationship with Hoiberg...considering Hoiberg was his coach, and voushed for him with his support?

Re: Royce White Trending on Twitter tonight
Here's hoping his music career works out because at this point I don't see him playing a game in the NBA.

I don't see how/why it would. Hoiberg spoke regarding the Royce he dealt with. The Royce that the Rockets are dealing with clearly is not the same guy.

Re: Royce White Trending on Twitter tonight
I would venture to guess his new support staff (coaches and players) are not on the same level has his support staff at ISU. Hasn't had much time to know them, players are more self-centered and concerned with their own career and coaches don't want to deal with distractions, especially from rookies.
So I just think there is some disconnect and that is not helping.

Re: Royce White Trending on Twitter tonight
In Royce's defense, he has show that in the right environment, he can thrive. It is easier to create that environment in college. It will 100x more difficult to create that environment in the NBA. The Rockets might have to make some uncomfortable adjustments. But so too will Royce. He will never get the same protecting family in the NBA as he did in Ames.

No. Fred had an open and honest discussion with interested GM's regarding Royce as a player and person. Fred, as any boss would, provided a clear picture of the person he managed (both positives and negatives). http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...s-hoiberg.html (Impact of RW's early struggles on Hoiberg) ∞ -
