Never realized that he has over 100,000 followers. That's a lot of people seeing this meltdown occur.
Prolly saw he was trending then hopped on the trashcan fire to see some drama. Be interesting to see how many of those are new followers.
I think he sometimes forgets the simple fact that the Houston Rockets are a business, and they will do whatever they can to maximize revenue.
I'm done! I can't follow him anymore. I have no clue what he's going through and I realize that's kinda the point but he stopped making sense at about 9:15 last night...
Sorry Royce, but I'm on the Rocket's side of this deal. You're just looking more and more like an idiot.
You are now living in the real world for the first time in your life. You are just another player to the Rockets. You aren't a "person", you are just a player. It stinks, but that's the way it is. I'm just a worker at my job too, not a person.
You need to grow up and do your part on this. It's not the Rockets' job to baby you. It's their job to pay you to play basketball.... that's it. If you can't do that, then I guess you will have to find another occupation. And if your disability does not allow you to perform your job duties, then the Rockets will also probably have to let you go.
At this rate, you will never set foot on an NBA basketball court again, unless it is as a fan. Don't turn a great story into a embarrassment Royce. You're better than that.
According to sources, White's most recent problems with the team began last week when he told the club he was upset that he was not playing, and he said if he is not playing he is going to have anxiety and he is not going to show up.
If he really said that, then I don't really care if he ever plays professional basketball for anyone. Seriously, he has gone WAY off the deep end now. People that are close to him in his life really need to get a hold of him quick. He's digging his own grave.
It's rough, and we clearly don't have the full story (regardless or Royce's post-a-minute pace), but this isn't how things work out well.
For Royce's sake, I hope it's the anxiety and not the playing time. At least that one is an issue that they can work through if both sides make that decision. If it's playing time, this is the stuff that drags everyone crazy about pro athletes.
At this point, I'll be surprised if he lasts 2 weeks. He has the talent to play, but he's got to show up and work.
Also, might be old news, but he apparently turned down going to the D-League yesterday....
Pretty obvious that he used the NBA to kick start his music label. The sad thing is that I think he acted different at ISU just so he could get a chance in the NBA, didn't care at all about ISU.
I just wonder what is going through his head when he tweets these things. He's getting paid a lot of money to do something he enjoys and has the relatively good support of his employer. Some people have to work at McDonalds for $7.25 an hour and don't get to sit at home and rant on twitter all day when they're suffering from this illness. He likes to tweet like hes a savior and can relate to people with this sickness but as of late he is about as selfish and unrelateable as one can be
I was hoping for a legitimate paragraph or so on how Royce would best make his case if he would get on the court and dominate. I do agree that he should stop tweeting though.
