So, yes, I plan to join in on some good old fashioned calling out of things during and after the game. I'm not employed by the athletic department, and at no point will I turn it into threatening to drop out of grad school.

Should have stayed in school and at least got a degree to fall back on. Now he has his signing bonus to live on the rest of his life.

If this is about having his own doctor then he should have his own. I live with the idea that we are here to help others and I just get that Royce lives with this philosophy too and he isn't trying to make a selfish decision.

Interesting...I haven't seen that yet. Well it will be interesting Monday if they come out with another statement. Right now it comes down to who do you believe? The Rockets or Royce? Royce hasn't lied to the Cyclone Nation yet so that is why I stand where I stand.
For those who stand on the other side now, I see where you are coming from and apologize for not having all the information.

Re: Royce White prepared to leave NBA
If it's about not getting to see his own doctor here's what I don't get...
He's getting paid over a million dollars by the Rockets - make an appointment and go see his own doctor.
If the Rockets want him to see their doctor fine see him too.
If I get hurt at work they send me to the onsite doctor or refer me to a place of their choosing. If I don't like what I hear I make an appointment with my doctor and either pay out of my pocket or through my insurance.
I'm pretty sure the Rockets never said he couldn't see his own doctor they just didn't say they'd arrange/pay for it.
If it's not that and it's not about flying, then I'm not sure what it's about other than throwing a tantrum and making a scene for "awareness".

True...but if you have two different doctors telling you two different things while one employees you and you go off an do what the other doctor says how does that look?

You have to be a little wacky to do history. You've seen what we read. That's all the time.
I've read a few hundred tales of slave suicides. I have stories to curl your teeth. Wacky helps you get by.

People are confusing the Rockets wanting Royce to see a doctor they set up for him with Royce not being allowed to see his own doctor. He can see his doctor all he wants, the Rockets just want him to meet with their chosen doctor, which is standard procedure for any NBA player.

If Royce skips practice/games, it's a rule that he HAS to see somebody from the Rockets...that is where it's coming from..if he's blaming the process, then he's taking a shot at the NBA.
Though I bet it's playing time.
