Do they employ me? Are you trying to make as many irrelevant arguments as you can? I expect to have disappointments during tonight's win, just like every game. At no point during the game will I turn around and turn the forum into a railing on the Iowa State History Department for failing to accommodate something that they did accommodate.

So, yes, I plan to join in on some good old fashioned calling out of things during and after the game. I'm not employed by the athletic department, and at no point will I turn it into threatening to drop out of grad school.

Should have said you had anxiety, then according to Tyler you're entitled to anything you want.

Should have stayed in school and at least got a degree to fall back on. Now he has his signing bonus to live on the rest of his life.

lol...I am implying when we have something then have it taken away it is a bigger issue. If this is about having his own doctor then he should have his own. I live with the idea that we are here to help others and I just get that Royce lives with this philosophy too and he isn't trying to make a selfish decision.

Royce White's battle with Rockets over anxiety disorder could cost him NBA career - Yahoo! Sports

"When meetings with Rockets coaches and officials couldn't get White the minutes he wanted, when a demotion to Rio Grande and the bus trips of the minors had been broached, White stopped showing up to the team's facility for practices and games last week. Maybe it was a coincidence, but White is losing the benefit of the doubt."

"White wanted separate transportation to get to training camp, and it was offered him. He didn't take it. The Rockets redid his contract and agreed to pay for the RV travel to bring him to selected games. They sent a vehicle to pick him up for the drive to training camp, and he didn't get into it. The list goes on and on, and it's November of his rookie season."
Most teams in the NBA would never give White this kind of special treatment. "He isn't good enough – and I'm not sure anyone would be good enough – to have a completely different set of guidelines for him," one GM told me. "I would've already cut him."

Interesting...I haven't seen that yet. Well it will be interesting Monday if they come out with another statement. Right now it comes down to who do you believe? The Rockets or Royce? Royce hasn't lied to the Cyclone Nation yet so that is why I stand where I stand.

For those who stand on the other side now, I see where you are coming from and apologize for not having all the information.

Oh really? Didn't realize he couldn't go back to school and get this degree. Comments like these always confuse me.

If it's about not getting to see his own doctor here's what I don't get...

He's getting paid over a million dollars by the Rockets - make an appointment and go see his own doctor.

If the Rockets want him to see their doctor fine see him too.

If I get hurt at work they send me to the onsite doctor or refer me to a place of their choosing. If I don't like what I hear I make an appointment with my doctor and either pay out of my pocket or through my insurance.

I'm pretty sure the Rockets never said he couldn't see his own doctor they just didn't say they'd arrange/pay for it.

If it's not that and it's not about flying, then I'm not sure what it's about other than throwing a tantrum and making a scene for "awareness".

True...but if you have two different doctors telling you two different things while one employees you and you go off an do what the other doctor says how does that look?

You have to be a little wacky to do history. You've seen what we read. That's all the time.

I've read a few hundred tales of slave suicides. I have stories to curl your teeth. Wacky helps you get by.

You're completely right. People are confusing the Rockets wanting Royce to see a doctor they set up for him with Royce not being allowed to see his own doctor. He can see his doctor all he wants, the Rockets just want him to meet with their chosen doctor, which is standard procedure for any NBA player.

If Royce skips practice/games, it's a rule that he HAS to see somebody from the Rockets...that is where it's coming from..if he's blaming the process, then he's taking a shot at the NBA.

Though I bet it's playing time.
