Re: Recruit Lists v2.0
One thing is for certain, 2014 class needs an impact Big. If we have to go Juco again and get some players averaging 8 points and 5 fouls again, we will be in trouble everytime Percy needs rest.

An impact big, hopefully someone that can bang in the paint versus a stretch the floor 3-point shooter, IMO. And then a wing that can shoot the rock to go with Custer. Obviously we are sitting pretty good at the 4 and 2 spots right now.

I disagree. I think O'Mara is a gem. Heard Illinois is after him hard! Originally Posted by BigM I don't like o'mara seems undersized for what he is, we need some better length. Would love vaughn and terrell for obvious reasons, would like some elite length though, that team wouldn't have anyone over 6'8" besides percy. -

Yep, and we would be okay if we got another Percy in 2014. Obviously you hope to get someone considered an impact guy, but I am not going to panic if we do not.

Re: Recruit Lists v2.0
Did an update to the Lists today, just in names and interest/offer for the 2014, 2015 & 2016 classes. Still working on additional time to get new pages up and update the ratings and various numbers on the lists as well. Hope everyone is still finding it useful!!

I think we could all live with another Percy caliber big man. You'd classify Percy as a little one dimensional currently but still pretty good overall.
If we get a player that lacks in certain areas on 2014, I'd prefer one that is more defensively orientated as we'll have plenty of fire power with Percy, Niang, Jones, Thomas, MM, Naz and SDW.

Iowa St will be in Grand Rapids tomorrow night to see Akex Illikainen. Gophers will be there Saturday. Alex on track to score 1,000 soon https://twitter.com/RyanJamesMN/stat...54545220923392
He had 39 points and 27 rebounds in one game last week.

Re: Recruit Lists v2.0
27 rebs is complete domination of your opponent. That's ridiculous.
with finals, and no game until Sat, I assume almost everyone (staff) is out on the road the early part of the week visiting recruits...

I'm from northern Minnesota and I actually played basketball against Grand Rapids a couple times. The competition isn't exactly the best and they play a lot of small teams. The stats are probably inflated a lot.
