Carrington sounds like he's kind of a long shot for ISU. I don't know how hard they're going after him though

I'm going to say something I wrote on one of the others threads. I think Reid Travis should be #1 on our big board. The dude is less likely to go blue then pro than Vaughn is and he's a position that we desperately need. He's very very skilled and muy intelligente I believe. He could be a three year starter if he stays, with him being behind percy and Niang his freshmen year. If I had a choice between him or Vaughn I'd probably take him, but I'd easily settle for both

Side note: His name just doesn't seem to roll off the tough right. You almost have to force it.

He's the 5th ranked power forward. To survive in the big 12 we going to need a lot more than those three. We are forgetting that our coach is one to adapt the style of play to the personnel. Bottom line is that you take the best talent you can get adjust your game plan according to your personnel. Hoiberg will always take the best talent he can no matter the position. There have been many teams in college basketball that have won playing with a small lineup.

2015 Alex Illikainen had 17 points tonight for Grand Rapids (MN) in 65-43 loss per @zschneiderNNC. #Cyclones staff watched tonight.
La Crosse Trib saying 31 pts for Thomas on 10-17 shooting in only 17 mins of play... Pretty impressive, even against Div 2 (2nd largest class) in WI.
He also led the team in rebounding (8) and "combined with Clint Rihn for 7 steals"...
