Update from Kevin Zabo. He's spoken with Hoiberg multiples times, likes how he uses guards... NY2LASPORTS.COM - INTERVIEW WITH 2014 G KEVIN ZABO
I wonder if the Custer commitment means we'll stop pursuing Zabo. I imagine it does, but who knows. I'm not on the staff.

If we get him great, but we need some bigger bodies. We need a small forward. Vaughn at 6'6 wold do it, but I'm not gonna put my money on getting him. We easily could, but it's not like he's Matt Thomas visiting every week. We need some big men on the inside cause we're looking really small in 14 right now. If he chooses here take him, but if i'm Fred I'm concentrating my efforts somewhere else. If someone disagrees let me know. Plus we only have three more open scholarships open for 14 if no one leaves

If we sign a juco post for the 2013 class that will leave us 2 scholarships to replace Ejim and Amardi. So we will need to get a couple forwards which probably means we will cool on any other 2014 guards we were recruiting.

Re: Recruit Lists v2.0
That sounds more logical. I am kind of pumped about this O' Mara kid! I think he would do well for us. He is a 2014 recruit I believe. Vince Hunter to UTEP! Uncool. Wish we would had gotten him. Originally Posted by Cydkar Vince Hunter to go play for Floyd. Interesting. -

Still think we will have one current freshman or sophmore transfer and we will try and pick up a solid transfer from another team. No inside info. Not going to name a player. Just a feeling and based on the current state of basketball
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

It probably means we just become very selective on 2014 guards. Zabo, Terrell, and Vaughn are too good to pass on. Originally Posted by mjhavlo76 Vince Hunter to UTEP! Uncool. Cleanthony Early with 25 pts and 9 rebs for Wichita State vs Iowa tonight. Many likely remember that we recruited him for some time last summer.

Re: Recruit Lists v2.0
I would be shocked if we could land Vaughn. Just do not see it happening.

I am starting to think we are becoming a long shot with Vaughn... Originally Posted by zwclones51 I would be shocked if we could land Vaughn. Just do not see it happening. -
Re: Recruit Lists v2.0
Abu and O' Mara should be our top high school prospects at this point. Would love to land Abu. Sounds like Abu and Terell is a package deal. I don't know if Terell has visited, or if Abu has for that matter. I know O'Mara has made an unofficial visit with us and was impressed with us.
