Scrappy, gym rat, good floor general. What he lacks in athleticism he makes up for in good basketball IQ. I actually have no idea. White guy basketball players bio. On every one of them.

We're definitely all entitled to our opinions - heck, that's what message boards are all about. But, I can't for the life of me understand how you can be of that opinion when SDW is a true freshman and only 2 games into his collegiate career. Any speculation on his future is a "dart board" guess, at best!

There is going to be all kinds of playing time available for SDW next year (when Custer is a high school SR).

Re: Custer announcement tonight at 7pm
I think we might have a transfer, however I am not sure who will transfer and the freshman class all likes it in Ames so far. That is what I am hearing. Also, every school has a transfer and it may be because they recruited someone better. So who cares. If we get a better player than we already have the the other guy transfers due to lack of playing time then so what. See ya. Good luck beating out players at the next school. It's the big leagues.

Makes you wonder if there have been some late phone calls to Custer after the Metro Sports news.

Morris Fr. I dont know who but I don't see any way we don't lose one of those last 5 guys listed after next season, or at the very least a guard from '14 the next year. Next year will be open competion between the young guys for playing time, IMO it will sort itself out and someone won't be happy with the prospect of being a back up for 3 or 4 years. In the long run losing a guy won't be tragic, it will probably be a blessing by helping spread out the logjam we have with 5 guards being sophomore or younger.

IF anyone transfers out, and that's a big IF, I think it would be Okoro before SDW.
First off, Okoro isn't RS and SDW is. That makes it more likely SDW would stay here. Also... SDW got WAY more playing time in our exhibition game this year than Okoro did. The reason... I think he's quite a bit better than Okoro is.
I thought SDW looked pretty darn good in our first exhibition game. He is lightning quick and smooth. He just needs to get stronger, and this RS year will help him do that. He's going to be a good one IMO.
