Re: Clayton Custer commits, says relationships were key in decision
Coach just called you a Great Son Chris. Way to go!
“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.” -

If any of you have ESPN Insider.....I suggest you go check out Dave Telop's video blog on the Custer signing. Very encouraging.
Talks about how White and the transfers were the first step. Then Niang. Then Morris and Thomas. Now Custer. Building it block by block. Clay Custer building block for Cyclones - Dave Telep Blog Blog - ESPN --Never go to a doctor whose office plants have died. -

Well since CFH had so much luck with it every school in the Nation is now trying to become Transfer U which leaves no good talent for lowly ISU. Back to the drawing board for CFH.

How does this guy fit in with Naz and MM?
Not trying to bash him, just want to know what he brings to the team.

Not trying to bash him, just want to know what he brings to the team. Ball-handling, shooting, natural ability to lead the offense.
Imo, due to who he would defend and skill with facilitating the offense, he is more of a 1 than MM or Long. However, he can shoot, so on offense he can play off the ball with Naz and MM. One of the things Fred has said he likes about Naz and MM is that they both can go from pg to sg (or the 3rd guard spot) seamlessly.
Just get Vaughn, and we have all the components for the type of lethal 3 guard offense that many teams have used to reach the Final Four.

They won't like us when we're lethal.
