This guy (according to Royce) may have some of the details a little wrong, or maybe he doesn't, but I think the overall gist of what he is saying is correct: Royce is not in a position yet in the NBA to really try and use this as a platform for treatment of anxiety issues like his. It would be a much more powerful message if he would first show what he can contribute to an NBA team. All he is really doing now is validating all of those who were not willing to take a chance on him in the first place because of his condition. I don't understand why he can't see that.

I also unfollowed Royce on Twitter. This whole situation is sad.

I would love to support Royce as he is a former Cyclone, but this is getting out of hand. He is ruining his chances to have ANY kind of pro career. It is 100% right to say he is not in any position to be acting like a diva. I am not down playing the fact that he has anxiety issues, but he isn't being too proactive to make it work for his basketball career. If he spent 1/4 of the energy he does on blasting the Rockets on Twitter on basketball he could be a successful role player in the NBA.

Hopefully he's spending as much time actually addressing his condition as he is waging war on social media about how he is being persecuted.
