In my predictions I had us as a bubble team...still think that...would have helped to win 1 in vegas.

BYU and Iowa are almost must wins because we need to get some good non-conf wins to help the resume...just missed on two big ones

Too early to tell. We didn't have an identity last year until non-cons were almost over. I think they have some good pieces, but they might not fit together as well as last year's did.

Yes ... split would have been fine. Win out in non-conference, start from scratch w/ conference.

Bummer is, the only possible quality wins, BYU and Iowa, probably won't have as much clout as Cincinnati-UNLV.

I see what you're saying. I don't want to pick nits, but this would definitely not be a good non-con win. It would be a bad loss, but not a good win by any means.

Right now you would have to say probably not but tourney teams aren't made in Nov so there is plenty of time to play into the dance.

So far it's almost identical to last year but that doesn't necessarily mean it will finish like last year.

I haven't seen enough to have strong feelings either way but I've seen some flashes so I feel like we will put it together.

It's important that we go 2-1 between BYU, Iowa and Drake though

Can't say I'm surprised Clones21 came up with the first meltdown thread of the season.

I have my opinions on how I feel about this team but I'm not going to respond to Clones21's question on whether we will make the tourney or not because, at this point, it is ridiculous to try and determine that.
