Fred make a lot of valid points in this. The Cincinatti game in particularly hurt because the Clones shot horrible from the FT line while the Bearcats were out of their minds, shooting 35% above their average. Both games had several really boneheaded turnovers at the top of the key that resulted in dunks on the other end. This team is not there yet, but at least they are athletic enough to win, just not focused enough yet. Fred has played a lot of guys early on here. When he gets it down to a 7-9 man rotation I expect better teamwork because guys will have a better understanding of what the other players are doing.
Fred says, they are trying to put in a game plan, figure out what will work the best based on the talent they have. It would be difficult to figure that out ahead of a season when you have new people on the floor. It will be interesting to see what they come up with in the next game.

That video was pretty encouraging, sounds like some changes schematically will do us some good. All things considered, I feel pretty good about things, although I wished we'd made our free throws/layups and won one of those games.
I'm not worried about this team in the slightest. But after last year, and seeing how this team is similarly built with new players, I am kind of resigned to thinking we might have to watch a lot of bad basketball before we really see what this team can do. Just hopefully we can get there sooner so we don't have to regret any bad early season losses like we did last year.
