Do you realize that Booker and Gibson together are averaging ~11 points per game and just over 7 rebounds, yet you expect two new comers to average 12 and 9? I just don't get it and think that glass of Koolaid may be to big to drink. And, Booker and Gibson's minutes have been dwindling as we get into Big 12 season. Also, in Armadi's 12 or so minutes per game, he is averaging 3.5 fouls, not a stat that instills confidence.

They also have a lot f D1 recruits on their roster that they need to make playing time fore. Do you see what he averages in 12 minutes? Now triple that if he were in the whole game. I think people are underselling Armadi quite a bit. He will surprised people and we will need him too. Gibson is very 1 dimensional and his defense is lacking. We will need him and Edozie.

By your post, you would have thought he suggested the two newcomers would combined for 25 and 15.
Given what Booker and Gibson are averaging, if anything, that is a pretty damn good rough guess (made two months ago) of what to hope for from those guys. You do understand that if someone made the prediction last November that Booker and Gibson would be a 12 and 9 duo, and they ended the season at 11.4 and 7.2, it would be almost universally considered an accurate prediction.
I am not worried about fouls unless you think Fred will have Armadi guarding the point.

Kinda hard for Matt to outscore Linn-Mar by himself 33-32 if Matt's team only had 32 points.
Do all the media outlets have this game wrong, or do we on here?

Do all the media outlets have this game wrong, or do we on here? I don't know for sure, but I would have a hard time believing that a 4-6 Linn-Mar team would beat Matt Thomas' top ranked Onalaska team by 35 points.

Re: Following all of our Signed and Committed players
So far everything I can find says Onalaska lost and Linn-Mar won... Scoreboard | Iowa Prep Sports Onalaska Basketball vs. Linn-Mar Box Score 1/19/2013 - MaxPreps
WAIT! I just found this one. John Casper Jr.: Kowal wants just one more thing from Rihn: 'Shoot more' : Onalaska Hilltoppers "While Thomas grabs all the headlines — for good reason — Rihn is just as important to the No. 2 Hilltoppers, who improved to 12-2 and are poised to take over the top spot in the Associated Press Division 2 state rankings after completing a three-victory week by beating Linn-Mar (Iowa) 67-32 in the Midwest Players Classic at the La Crosse Center on Saturday." So I have no freaking Idea how it happened with the other news and prep websites. One probably posted it incorrectly and the prep site probably just copy pasted for their entries.

Re: Following all of our Signed and Committed players
Here is the last tweet on the game from the sportswriter from the La Crosse Tribune covering the game. Most likely, he is not lying. Just sayin'. John Casper Jr.@johncasperjr FINAL: Onalaska 67, Linn-Mar 32. Thomas had 32. Expect the Hilltoppers to be the new No. 1 team in Division 2 next week. #lctsports #mpc --Leaving the TV on non-HD channels is the female equivalent of leaving the toilet seat up.
