Re: Following all of our Signed and Committed players
So far it loos like Edozie is better than Amardi.
Edozie 10.1 ppg 8.1 rpg.
Amardi 6.6 ppg 4.6 rpg.
Who do you guys think is gonna be better?
Re: Following all of our Signed and Committed players
Think it's tough to really come to much of a conclusion on the two. Amardi's on a top-5 JC team with a lot of talent to sub in and out. I don't know what the school Edozie plays at is like, but he seems to be a very different player than Amardi. Amardi seems to be more of a transition game and athletic build, whereas Edozie is more of a bruiser, strong body, defensive type. Obviously hard to tell much in November but if Fred's excited about both, I like to think I have reason to be excited about both.
Re: Following all of our Signed and Committed players
Armadi seems to have the athleticism to do some great things. Just don't know if the talent is there, so maybe we can hope he will be a rebounding, blocking, followup player. We shall see.
Re: Following all of our Signed and Committed players
I honestly think Amardi has better potential than Edozie IMO. At Weatherford C.C. his RS Fr year he played in 12 games and averaged 13 ppg and 10 rpg. He had a 32 pt 16 rebound game. That shows that he has the potential to go off. And that was 2 years ago. Before his first game at Indian Hills he hadn't played an organized game for 21 months and hadn't practiced with a team for around a year. So I think he is just getting into the flow of things again, and by the time he gets to Iowa State he will be ready to go. Hopefully we can get the same production or more from him that we get from Booker this year.
Edozie on the other had 5 ppg and 5 rpg his freshman year. He hasn't sat out for 21 months like Amardi, yet Amardi is close to just as impressive as Edozie IMO.
IMO I think Amardi will back up Percy playing 15 mpg next year. Edozie will play right around 7-8 when we get into foul trouble or when someone needs a quick break. IMO.

I do not think we will be able to tell much from his stats at IHCC. With the way they sub and play on both ends, his role will be too different. It is 40 minutes of chaos.

Are you measuring better by 2013-14 stats? Amardi, as he will see more minutes.

IMO Amardi will be a 8 ppg 6 rpg next season. Edozie IMO will be a 4 ppg 3 rpg next season. Then Edozie's senior season he will be a 8 ppg 6 rpg IMO.

I would take adding 12 ppg and 9 rpg in the post to Ejim, Niang, and Gibson.
Re: Following all of our Signed and Committed players
I'd take 4 and 3 from each with solid post defense. People don't realize how good 8 and 6 us, especially off the bench. I thought Booker was a really solid player for us last season. Go look at his averages.

I get a lot of grief because i talk in "absolutes" so from now on I'm going to make sure everyone sees that it's my opinion so they don't get so mad. I am a very considerate person. I don't want to hurt someones feelings.

Re: Following all of our Signed and Committed players
I think both are question marks. Could be great players or contributors. I am just glad we have some big men to compliment our guards next season.

True they were much needed. Now we just need to get to work on snagging some good top 100 forwards for the 2014 class
