Planning on going as well. Just curious, anybody have a ballpark estimate of how many clone fans will be in attendance??

Oh come now Erik. I know beating the teams they've beat isn't showing their world beaters, but they at least showed a pulse/spirit in the comeback against a slightly-more-than-mediocre Gardner Webb team, and leading the entire way over a similar WKU team.

I'm also not an Iowa fan who's predicting NCAA tourney this year. Iowa's at least a year off. But, I still can't help but laugh at guaranteeing victories on a court where ISU has won twice in the last 20 years. Both Iowa and ISU have a lot of work to do, but both have potential. I know it bums a few fans out that these aren't the Hawks of old, but it is what it is.

It's a rivalry game. We know it'll be tough and competitive. This is just fun stuff.

Sweet! I wanna say we are 6-11 ish. Sadly, my brother is a Hawkeye, so a 50/50 mix of good guys / bad guys in our group. Always makes for good fun though!

A blowout would surprise me as well. If it was at Hilton I might go that far but not on the road. I expect a close game with the loser thinking they could have won if just a few things went differently.

Agree with that 100%.

Iowa State is the better team, if they play like they did against BYU it could be ugly. Gessell seems to not be as aggressive as earlier on. ISU wins by 12

Guess we'll see this weekend.

The variable here is Iowa is the home team. It's tough to win on the road against anyone, doesn't matter if you're better than them or not.

Iowa State IS the better team here. But that doesn't mean they will win.
