BYU / ISU Predictions

I will be honest....this game worries me. BYU is a very good shooting team and they have played a couple of decent teams pretty close. They lost to Notre Dame on a neutral court by only 10.

I think ISU will win, but it is going to be close.

Depends on if ISU has an answer for Brandon Davies and can defend him without fouling out all the bigs. Davies is 6th in the nation in fouls drawn per 40 mins. I suspect Haws will be shut down by good guard defense.

Close wins are scary to me right now because of the lack of a "go to guy" and the issues with ball handling, but I'm going with ISU 76 BYU 74.

I'm very worried. BYU is a good team.

One thing I know is that we absolutely have to have a great crowd tomorrow, so no sitting at home when the weather will be fine and nothing else is on anyway.

I like us after two tough games, a week of practice, and home at Hilton. I think the tune on here will change quite a bit after this game as I expect us to look very good on Saturday. We've seen our weaknesses exploited and I think the week of practice with Fred will help us a ton. Not disrespecting BYU at all as they are a good team annually, but I just expect this team to come out hungry, and to play very well. I think the team starts meshing a lot better starting at Hilton on Saturday.

Not based much on knowledge of ISU, though. Should be fun.

I see this game, like most this year coming down to guard play. We're fine up front, our guards got outplayed by both of the good teams we've played and the results speak for themselves. And hopefully theyve figured out that Clyburn isn't Royce White, sure Will can handle the ball an beat his guy off the of the dribble but he missed great assist chances against UNLV, he is better off the dribble than Royce and can pretty much get to the rim when he wants but he doesn't have Royce's ability to find guys and make the rest of his team better(or he hasn't shown it yet). The rest of the team (especially KL) seemed really out of rhytm when Will was at the point.

I predict that after the game someone will post a thread complaining about the pep band and cyclone alley, and then talk about how loud Hilton was back in the Orr days.
