Anybody got the stat on missed layups tonight?

It may be that I notice missed bunnies more because it is us, but I swear we blow more easy baskets than any team in America. We never seem to finish on fast breaks like other teams, we rarely convert on alley-oops, etc. Yet we still are a good team, and I have high hopes for this season. Is it just me or does anyone else notice this?

Agree but the Clones are averaging 16. Value the ball and each possession equals a win!

There really isn't any reason we should lose to Iowa. I think we have too athletic of a team for them and we are just better.

On the road against an instate rival, anything can happen. I have no doubt that we have the better team. We just have to be up and play like it.

Everyone just feels that if we just go out there and do our thing we win. Really no reason to believe otherwise. Nobody said that they don't have to show up and play hard.

Korie played well tonight. 5 turnovers, but only 1 in the 2nd half.

If anyone was off a bit tonight it was Clyburn. Shooting was just not there, and he had 6 turnovers. Also, Niang's scoring has really dropped off, but he is a freshman. Really impressed with what Gibson and McGee add coming off the bench.

Surprised ISU could not get to the foul line more agaisnt this team.

Iowa will be interesting. I just don't see how they are going to cover ISU's outside shooters. Plus, they are terrible shooting from outside. Iowa shot 2 for 16 behind the arc tonight. They may not even be able to get one off against ISU. The only thing I see with Iowa is that ISU cannot foul them and send them to the line. They are very good foul shooters, and they seem to draw a lot of fouls.

Good win tonight. FGSU was certainly no cupcake at all.

Wait and see... Fridays game will be a rediculous 3 point show for Iowa. That's just how things seem to go when we play an instate rival. Weaknesses magically become strengths.

I agree with those that say don't get overconfident with Iowa. The only way we will win is by playing much better defense than we did tonight. I think we should be able to score, but we need more patience on offense still. Niang needs to get his legs into his outside jumper. He is trying to shoot too flat-footed. I am pretty sure there is a similar problem with Booker. I thought Clyburn got clobbered so many times and most of the time they called the foul on him. That was part of the problem with the bunnies tonight, the refs were letting everything go inside and we weren't clobbering them like they were clobbering us. It was a strange game. Cory needs to drive it in and look outside for the three point shooter. He tries to force it on those too often when we could bank a three. That is all.

typical 'meh' game. came out flat. korie lucious is improving, anyone who cant see that doesnt know basketball. sometimes clyburn dribbles too much into traffic instead of just pulling up and shooting over people. and this is off-topic but does anyone sit in section 202 in the middle-top of the section? myyyyy lanta theres this lady that just RIPS on lucious every time HE TOUCHES THE BALL. i am not exaggerating. literally every time. how do i kindly tell her to shut the hell up?
