Percy was decent, but we still need to work on our passing - we had the size advantage over FGC, but we sure didn't use it much. They couldn't move Booker, Percy or Niang in the post - but yet we VERY rarely set up those situations.
Happy with the win - but we need to get the ball to Niang, Percy, Clyburn more in the paint - ESPECIALLY when we have a size mismatch.
EDIT: McGee and Ejim were the favorites tonight from this fan's perspective. Korie looked good as well - shot quite a bit more, but he still had some dimes out there.
When the team made their big run the first half they did work it inside and it worked well. Niang didnt have a good game and I worry he is going to struggle a bit this year going foward due to his lack of athleticism.

I didn't mean to say that Book was/is ALWAYS a slug out there - just what I saw last night. I guess everyone gets an 'off' night, but it just didn't look good...that's all...

That's exactly what I'm saying...when they played to the mismatch on the inside, that ignited shooting across the board and opened up our shooting from behind the arc.
I think Georges had a just OK night, but remember, he's a FRESHMAN. He made some pretty sweet inside moves and some pretty dumb ones. After he turned it over to Fieler (#20 FGC) he came back the next possession and basically drove through 4 guys to get the bucket...looked a little peeved but he had some fire on that one. He'll be fine.

Look at how much improvement Melvin Ejim has made since he stepped on campus. He look like a complete new player with better shooting/ball handling and ability to defend.
Just can't wait to see how much Niang will improve in next couple of years.
