Re: How concerned should we be?
MM, Naz, Jones, Thomas, SDW, Custer...... We'll see a faster pace in the future. Right now, we barely have one guy that can dribble under pressure.
Re: How concerned should we be?
he's barely a 3 probably a 2, he may be playing well in his 3 games this year but the bball talent in iowa is so poor it can make those guys look like 4 or 5, fact of the matter is he averaged 10 ppg last season which i could probably do in the ciml, for reference I'm 6'2" and played the 4 I would probably the 2nd or 3rd tallest player on the court in most ciml games

You've never watched Jok. Solid student/team player and is finally regaining his form after battling injuries.....really good addition for Hawks.
Re: How concerned should we be?
It's December 7th. So, no.
If this team looks like they did tonight around mid-January, then probably, because those games matter.
If this team turns out to be good, this game won't matter. If this team ends up not being good, this game won't matter.
Throwing Fred Hoiberg around in his 3rd year of coaching, ever, doesn't help things.
It looked encouraging for Iowa fans to feel like they know what a sort-of loud arena sounds like.

Does that Mean will are gonna Lose to Drake High School Also?
Re: How concerned should we be?
Concerned about what? Concerned about beating Iowa the next few years? yeah I guess you could be a little concerned but Hilton isn't an easy place to win as a visitor.
Other than that though, there isn't anything to be concerned about. This isn't football, both schools can be good at the same time and one loss isn't going to make or break the season for either school.

Yes, turnovers to that extreme tend to kill just about any game plan.
Re: How concerned should we be?
Tough loss, this team has a lot to learn. I still like our "resume" over Iowa's-- two losses to top 25 teams and a loss in our first road game. This team still has NCAA potential.

Recruiting services make a living doing what they do. Jok appears to have chronic knee problems. Could he make a full recovery? Sure, but he is no AP. It took him two years to get back to any level of play. HE has a ways to go before he looks like the 5 star everyone here is mistaking him for.
Is this real life? Two different injuries....do some research.
Re: How concerned should we be?
There are good young players in the ISU program and more on the way. The non Srs+Mcgee did all the work tonight.

Yeah. APs was much more horrific, and he is back to the top of a pro league in under a year. Jok is not back to full form after two. So he is no AP, like I said.
Don't respond back, idiots **** me off, and you are king of the heap tonight.

First off, you don't like yourself very much if that's the case.
And...LOL he tore his patella tendon. It was a nasty injury and he came back too quickly--but his surgery was a year and a half ago. Adrian Peterson has nothing to do with this. Total red herring.

Right. So if this team turns out to be good, with a horrible non-conference resume, we will again be a 9 seed, and go out early. These games are huge at the end of the season.
