You rarely post because of your insecurity, and decide to come out after a loss to Iowa? Who are these many others you talk about? Are you all sitting in a room consoling each other because some other posters do not agree with you? Man, that is rough.

I know a bunch of lurkers on this site. I went to college with them, grew up with them, and to this day still keep in touch. Many wont post due to the fact that every time you post anything negative/related to Iowa/not rah rah, you get called a hok fan or some other absurd thing. Truly shows how insecure many on this board are in that if you don't drink the kool-aid, it is believed that you must not actually be a fan of ISU. Heaven forbid we have a set of fans who are critical of certain aspects of the programs.

I really hope we can snag the package duo with Travis and Johnson from De La Salle. Really like what I've seen from a YOUNG Jarvis Johnson, and he really seems to like ISU to this point (doesn't hurt at all that his sister is coming in next year). Bringing in these two would definitely be a great step for the future. JJ in 2015, and then Travis along with Custer in 2014 plus either a wing (RV PLEASE) or O'mara/Abu. Definitely pumped to see what Coach can do with kids after working with them for four years.

I don't really have a dog in this argument, but if you and your friends feelings get hurt because of stuff said on the internet, it's probably a *you* problem. Not everyone is going to get along. Not everyone is going to share the same opinion as you. Much like real life, you're going to run into people saying things that might not sit well with you. If you honestly sit around with your friends and talk about stuff said on the internet that is hurtful to you, then there is no hope.

That and the coach at Valley is Horner, an exhok.

So, you're saying he convinced Iowa to offer, when no one else would?

He took and missed 1 three from what I remember...not sure if we were watching the same game.
I like that he has plenty of room to grow as a junior but he took 2 charges and both were from help defense. His guy indeed went around him multiple times, especially while guarding Tyus. As for shooting and a scoring point guard, he is his high schools all time leading scorer...as a junior. averaged 18 ppg as a sophomore. Valley face guarded him the entire night, made a counted 11 threes in a row in warm-ups and because of Valley's concern with him scoring, Ben Richardson took over and was able to score close to 20. Custer is absolutely a scoring point guard. Also, who DOESNT need to work on their defense? he certainly will need to improve dramatically if he's to guard players as quick as Lucious.

I like that Fred saw enough in him to offer. That is all.
