Doug McDermott? Yes. Greg McDermott? Hell to the ******* no.
Sorry, but for the most part, Creighton plays against average, mid major type of talent and teams. McDermott had no problem beating those teams when he was at ISU. His problem was that he couldn't beat the good, high major teams in the Big 12.
His son is the reason he looks good right now. Once his son is gone, I guarantee you he will find it hard to win games against good teams.

No they should have fired him weeks before Nebraska State hired him.
He is a good midmajor coach. Doug is a good player, but lets not forget he coached 4 players that saw sometime in the NBA when he was at ISU. There is just a huge difference in coaching a mid major and a major conference team.

By the time I hit first grade, I was too cool for finger painting and obtaining the biggest box of crayons with a sharpener was cool.
