Why would it? One bad game doesn't change a thing. Iowa will still be a darkhorse B1G championship contender, and Iowa State will be lucky to make the NIT.
Wisconsin will finish even or below Iowa in B1G wins this year. And that's not a testament to Iowa being a good team/tournament team. Wisconsin has more problems than many realize. If you think we have PG problems, watch one of their games.
“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.”
Agree with others, this team has done nothing to look like a tourney team so far. A win in Vegas would have been big, as of now the BYU win isn't enough to stand on.
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan.
The biggest surprise right now is Florida State being an 11 seed. They have beaten BYU like we have and also have a nice win at St. Joe's but have lost at home to South Alabama & Mercer as well as gotten blown out at home by Minny & Florida.
I think he predicts what will happen down the road though. Not what has taken place so far. I think we're still in solid shape.
Pretty decent if you ask me. This tells me that national perception of ISU is already changing for the better. Now we just have to take care of business.
