big four classic attendance by fan base

The only way there is going to be a good atmosphere at these games is if ISU and Iowa started playing games every year there. It's never going happen though. The atmosphere for the Indiana/Butler game today seemed incredible.

So everybody plays everybody each year, but the "big guy hosts" 3 out of every four years. As an example:

2012: Iowa plays at Drake
2013: Iowa State plays at UNI
2014: Iowa plays at UNI
2015: Iowa State plays at Drake

Pretty much nobody else does 1:1's with their small schools; no reason for us to either.

Whey should we have to subsidize UNI or Drake. Not other high major, mid-major does it every year.
Play at ISU or Iowa (or them) and maybe in DSM every other, but this is not the way to go.
Costs us muney

Iowa State isn't a charity. Neither us or Iowa should be playing at Drake or UNI just to give them money. There is no upside for us.

After this contract expires, I would like to go to a 2-for-1 format with both UNI and Drake, playing each every year, but getting two in Hilton for every away game.

Is there anything stopping us for scheduling Drake at Hilton next year and UNI at Hilton the following year?

If that was added I really wouldn't have any problem with this event at Wells Fargo. Wouldn't go every year, but would when I come across tickets for a more reasonable price like I did this year.

I had this a lot in my section. One hawk yelled more during our game than his. He clearly didn't know any Drake players but was getting really ******. "Blue got fouled!!! Thats a travel!!" Screaming with a very weird level of intensity for a game his team isn't in.

If you're a fan of Div 1 BB and supporting Div 1 in the state of IA there should be some give or take by ISU/IA and feeding a bone to Drake/UNI.

I'm not a big BB fan but yet I buy MBB and WBB season tickets each year to support the system and glad able to do it and go to games when feel like it or give to families when I can't
