I wouldn't be surprised at all if Monte Morris starts the entire year.

Defense and slasher type from what I have read. Besides one video, I have not seen much else on him. Weird shot delivery though, crazy leg syndrome lol

I'd be pretty surprised if Monte was a starter from day 1 but when Jones is eligible, a bunch of different things could happen with the lineup.

Will Bubu be back by then?
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Next year's starters
It will be interesting at the point. Morris is ranked 82nd by ESPN out of high school......with a Scout grade of 83. Jones was ranked 89th coming out of high school with a Scout grade of 93. Both had 4 stars.
Jones, of course has a couple of years of Division I experience, but still, with these two, and the hopeful development of Naz, plus adding Custer in 2014 it looks like the point guard position should be in very good hands at ISU for the next few years.
I think that is going to be key....no matter who the other future players may be.

Re: Next year's starters
I think Freddy will experiment a little bit between Monte and Naz at the beginning of the season and if that doesn't work out, Jones will take over

4 Niang
5 Gibson
thoughts? Big guards are going to cause us problems next year.

If he's not eligible until December, is it because of the timing of his transfer announcement? It didn't happen until late this summer, IIRC.
