Agree - think we just saw the kid grow up a few years in just 5 mins. If he can play like that AT KU then anything is possible for his future.

Niang's game tonight reminded me of Craig Brackins Big 12 debut against Baylor...I think this season could be alot of fun as well!

There have been a lot of times I have said this same thing, but tonight isn't one of them. Melvin had what, 19 pts, close to 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 turnover, and guarded Withey much of the time. This was a great game. Will be up to Fred and the team to make this a positive and win a bunch of games in a row. Could very easily let this affect them and lose at home to Texas.

Next year may not be as much of a drop off as many think if the guards are as advertised. Niang and Ejim will be a solid base to work from and if Percy can step up his D our front court will be a strength. If one of these JC kids ends up being good we could be dangerous

It's funny how those recruit rankings go sometimes, did anyone come away from that game thinking that Perry Ellis is better than niang?! If anybody looked like a 5* between those two it was Georges.
