Game Watch Iowa Great Lakes Region
I am going to a company party in the IGL area on Saturday night. I got the wife talked into leaving early so I can be up there by 1 to watch the Game. Were is a good place to catch the game up there? I have been up there before a few years ago during Winter Games when ISU played KU and watched it at the Dry Dock on a 26inch standard def TV so wont be going back there. Also preferably close to The Arrowwood, but If there is a designated spot I will go there. It has been years since I have been to Coaches Corner Is that my best option?
Thanks!

The bar at Minerva's, which is the restaurant inside Arrowwood, would probably be a good place to watch the game if you don't want to venture out.

Probably going to be tough with the playoffs going on.

Coaches Corner is closed. I would reccomend Smiles for Miles. It is about 1 block south of the Dry Dock on the east side of the road next to Regal Begal. They have several HD tv's and frosted mugs. All Cycline gamewatches are held there.

Ok so I called Arrowwood and they do not have ESPNU at the bar or in room. I did a google search for this Smiles for Miles place and nothing came up.. Come on!! there has to be something out there with some ISU fans!!

I believe Donn is referring to this: https://www.facebook.com/milesinnokoboji11
Looks like it's where the old pizza hut used to be...and it looks like a hok haven, too :skeptical:

dmb, Sportsman's in Spirit Lake will probably have it. It's a little further away from Arrowwood, but it will definitely be far less crowded than any of those places in Okoboji...

Follow Up!
was unable to watch the game at all. Was late getting out of Council Bluffs.. Didnt get up there till around 1:30. Went to Smiles for the second half and they didnt have ESPNU. They said they were able to watch the first 20 minutes then the screen went blank and said they had to order it.. Captains was closed.
Then we went back to Minervas and there were 6 fat KU fans sitting at the bar. I just went back to the room.
