THIS ONE IS ALSO ON FRED!!!
He had this team ready to kill any opponent that steps foot in our house. This is what great teams and great coaches do after tough games. They respond with blood.

Re: THIS ONE IS ALSO ON FRED!!!
No, The game is only on the coach when bad things happen! This win could not have possibly been because of Hoiberg.

Re: THIS ONE IS ALSO ON FRED!!!
He set the tempo all day today. He spaced the floor and we had our way with a very good defensive team.
These guys are coming together and Fred deserves much of the credit

Re: THIS ONE IS ALSO ON FRED!!!
Fred Hoiberg is so much a better coach than anyone in his 3rd year ever should be. I can't wait until we take his genius for granted, and then I'll hate that we take it for granted.
There is no other coach that I would trade him for. A lot of that is that he isn't approaching his ceiling yet.

We should've won by 30+... -
Re: THIS ONE IS ALSO ON FRED!!!
I blame our players for this victory!

Re: THIS ONE IS ALSO ON FRED!!!
The entire organization is to blame. The coaches, the players, the system we run, the fans that make the atmosphere. A lot of blame to spread around for this victory.

Couldn't agree more, I think a lot of what makes him a great coach happens between games when we aren't watching. Games like today prove that. Losing a game that we had won, then playing a talented (but underachieving and poorly coached) team could have been a tall order for a lot of good teams and coaches but today Fred's guys came out exactly like any of us could hope. Coaches always talk about shaking off a tough loss but its easier said than done. Fred had his guys sharp and ready play. That says more than timeout usage, or fouling strategy ever could. Just when you think ISU fans couldn't love Fred any more than they do.....
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan. -

Really impressed by how we bounced back after that tough loss. What a great momentum builder! The guys really played with tenacity today.

Re: THIS ONE IS ALSO ON FRED!!!
I hope we have at least 16 more opportunities to blame coach for wins like today's...

Re: THIS ONE IS ALSO ON FRED!!!
No one on this board took the loss to KU harder than Fred. He's a fierce competitor, and you can tell that failing is not an option.
