Lol at the guy who says Bubu is now a felon. So, if I knew your real name, and called the police and claimed rape, you would be a felon once the charges were dropped?
Also, it's not like this is the firstgirl to regret a drunk night and claim rape. I knew a couple girls in my 4 years at ISU who regretted decisions from a night at the bar. If you believed their stories, roufies are more prevalant in Ames than alcohol.
Aside from everyone wanting to play Nancy Grace, I think this is huge for us ON the court. Lucious, IMO, has been too reluctant to put it on the floor and take it too the hoop, and this is a strength for Bubu with his speed and strength. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Lucious can't, as I think he could be killing most of his competetion off the dribble, he just hasn't been very agressive. In addition, if this can help take Clyburn off the point when Lucious is getting a rest, this makes us much better. Clyburn is not a PG and we're not in a good place when he's filling in, he's very good without the ball and crashing but not a PG. I'm happy for Bubu, if he truely was innocent, and happy for the team.
I'm not sure we benefit from a more aggressive, risk-taking Korie Lucious. I like the recent Cautious Korie version. I do agree that Palo as sub PG is better than Clyburn.
This is big, especially for next year. We'll have a young backcourt, having Bubu around before Jones can play will be nice. I'm happy for Bubu and hope he can move past this, I'm sure he's itching to get back on the court.
Palo needs to remember that the biggest issue in life is guilt by association. I hope this is extremely evident to him now. I think he's a good kid, smart ball player, and I'd love to see him back in action!
CyDude16 ITT seems like a stuck up ******.
Would he get offended if he saw someones underwear in public?
Bubu has known both the other defendant, and the accuser since high school. Would you leave your long time friend (what ive heard) because he did a federal crime? And would hanging out with him be any indication of committing federal crimes?
Bubu and his family have always been upstanding people, and the evidence just disproved the plaintiff's timeline.
She brought in a blouse she supposedly lost and "found" it at her mothers house 6 months later.
The only thing I see fishy in this case is the girl who is pressing charges
