On to TCU
Critical game Saturday. TCU played KSU pretty tough tonight losing by 13 but playing them even in the 2nd half. They have some bad losses and close wins against weak teams. They lost by 11 at Baylor last Saturday but were tied with them in the 2nd half.
Hoping the last 7 minutes of tonight's game serves as the wake up call. They only draw around 5,000 so the crowd shouldn't be a factor.

Does their gym even hold 5,000?

Yeah, they play slow, very deliberate, almost a stall type game. Not going to go down there and jump out to a 20 point lead. It's going to be a grinder, possession by possession. And I predict when the game is close at half time, which it will be almost by definition, people will be freaking out on here.

Re: On to TCU
None can be taken for granted. This one counts in the standings as much as the game tonight did. Need to go down there, play with poise and play our game. Do that, and we should win easily.

Re: On to TCU
I hope TCU doesn't become our new Colorado in basketball. Quiet arena, bad team, no excitement, etc.
I feel good about this one. No way will McGee have another bad game. I look for him to go off.

Re: On to TCU
The ISU Alumni Club here in DFW was able to get a group sale of $8 tickets through TCU for this game, so I would expect a decent amount of cardinal and gold Saturday. I'm brining a few non-ISU fans to help.

Re: On to TCU
I think we win comfortably. We stalled out on offense the last 5 minutes tonight, otherwise we would have cracked 70 again. They rely on defense but imo have no where near the talent as WV, I think we will overwhelm them and score 75+.

Re: On to TCU
I think tonight's win is just fantastic. People asked if we could win if we scored under 70. Even though it was only 1 point, it only got there because if fouls. West Virginia started making everything they took and there was nothing we could do. Korie played good, again. Turnovers were barely a problem. Ejim had a monster game, and that on stretch were 4 straight controversial fouls were called on us did him in.
Now onto TCU. If we get off to the fast start we had against UT, we win by a lot and Tyler Ellerman may see the floor. If not then it will be a grinder, which is what I'm expecting.

Re: On to TCU
Clones win big on Saturday.
I'm slightly more worried about the Tech game on Wednesday. They aren't good, either, but they gave KU a strong half at home and we will be their next home game since then.
Still no reason not to be 14-4 going into the K-State game though.

Latest KenPom rankings: ISU: 32
WVU: 93
Texas Tech: 251
TCU: 261
I know, stats can't play the game for you...but I'm not SUPER worried.
