Lot of recent alums in the uppers and families that can't afford the better seats. I think the upper level usually does pretty well considering how far away they are from everything.

I'm just saying, without the band that chant doesn't happen. Nobody listens to the cheerleaders.

It sucked. It sucked watching the student section sit down before the commercial break after a Clyburn dunk. ESPN2 student crowds have almost all been better. Embarrassing.

Need to get the non-students into the cyclone power chant. One during the free throws would have been even more epic!

Break games prove that without the students we would have no atmosphere.

I am a student, and that bothers me a lot... When we are cheering loudly, and there is a TV timeout, there is no reason to sit down. At the very least stay standing.

The "Cyclone Power" chant sounded awesome from ESPN2 to me up here in Michigan. Bardo and Wischusen (?) were full of praise for the crowd, students and all, and were very complimentary of Hilton in general.

I agree. The only negative was the girl in front and center of the tv shot not doing the chant or even smiling. Hey you're on national TV and at a basketball game at least act like you are having a good time.

Flag guy and "big Georges" were featured along with the framed Hilton Magic sign.

We were there, Junior. It's just sometimes we can't get all the way to a standing position until the Big Play is over and the crowd is settling back down. Whoever said that the crowd sat back down after a big offensive play, when we should have been still standing and urging the defense on is right.

I noticed that too! What was her issue?

There was a chick in the student section that was never involved in any of the student chants/cheering every time they showed her on TV. During Cyclone Power she was just standing ther silent amongst everyone. Strange. She looked like me during a hymn at church.

Maybe she was channelling something/someone to help/hurt the Cyclones?
