I've got to say, I'm sort of with Al on this one. I think Cyclone Alley has been detrimental to our student section since its inception, and I think the best thing that could happen for our students is for it to be dissolved. This is a pretty meaningless internet poll, but I can very much see them using it to validate CA as a good thing. They will brag up that we have a student section ranked in the top 10 in the nation and try to credit that to the hard work of CA and the CACC or whatever they are and blah blah blah. Screw that. I have voted for pretty much every ISU related poll that has ever been posted on this site, but this is one that I wouldn't mind seeing us have a poor showing in.

School pride is what causes people to be embarrassed by CA.

Personally, I don't really give a damn what the students do. You all just aren't as impressive as some other student sections and blind allegiance is for the naive.

Somebody posted in another thread an hit it right in the head. Even IF Cyclone Alley would be dissolved, there will be no change whatsoever to the performance of the student section. I have been to pretty much all of the home basketball games the last few years and there is not a single person who didn't cheer or cheer loud enough just because they are in an organized student section.

If the team wins on the field the coach gets all the praise. CAC is the coach and deserves no praise.
