Re: Jok recruitment
Hogue would make Jok cry in a game of one-of-one.

SDW filling the wing player role they were looking for in that class allowed them the luxury of taking Hogue or another JUCO post.
I'm incredibly excited about what that class of Morris, SDW, and Thomas can do in the backcourt. The future is bright. I'm thoroughly excited for those three. I also can't wait for Custer to get here.

*this seems plausible that maybe there was a compliance issue. Not something purposeful, but some misunderstanding or mistake. I liked my SDW theory better.

You can see he has a high basketball IQ as a high school junior. He seems to know angles (like Niang) and puts guys in position for good looks at the basket. He can also score when he wants to.

He seems a better fit for Iowa's system/B1G ball than to play the uptempo ISU/Big12 basketball IMO.

Ha ha you average 1 more point per game than Iowa, and if you mean uptempo by lack of defense I agree.

Correct me if Im wrong but who else from the Des Moines area has a DI offer or is going to a BCS level school? Well the short bad athlete that was guarding him last night was some scrub named Allen Lizard or something like that.
*I am also hesitant too anoint him a star just yet. Needs a lot of work.

True.... you are averaging a whopping 3 more possesions per game. Huge difference... NCAA Basketball Stats - NCAA BB Team Possessions per Game on TeamRankings.com -

Also, Iowa's average is bumped up from running the score up on bad non-confrence teams. Since b1g play began Iowa is only averaging 65 points a game. While on the other hand ISU has averaged 80ppg since Big12 play has started.
