Seriously Scott Drew & Baylor?
They have no business playing D3 HSIM (Hardin-Simmons "I" something "M" something.) 56-19 at half.
If it's their big 12 bye week, just take it off, or play someone decent like WVU with Purdue.

Re: Seriously Scott Drew & Baylor?
I was thinking the same thing. I would laugh if one of their stars got hurt this game. No point in playing this game.

Re: Seriously Scott Drew & Baylor?
If it's their Big 12 bye week, scheduling West Virginia might be problematic. But yeah, playing D3 is worthless. Get nothing out of it except maybe an injury.

Re: Seriously Scott Drew & Baylor?
Ironically I think this was good scheduling.
Way I see it Drew is such a horrid coach that the team got a huge boost during his self imposed suspension being coached by someone else.
So the Baylor team really does need this transition game with Drew back to get used to playing for the worst coach in CBB.

Re: Seriously Scott Drew & Baylor?
He meant play a game similar to WVU @ Purdue that is happening today.

Baylor is Baylor is Baylor is Baylor
“I told you, I don’t care if you’re black or white. I don’t care if you’re rich or poor. I don’t care where you come from, whether it’s Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I don’t care about any of that… But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads -

Re: Seriously Scott Drew & Baylor?
Hardin Simmons used to roll with Texas Tech, Arizona, and Arizona State as members of the now-defunct Border Conference. They're legit.
Not really.

Re: Seriously Scott Drew & Baylor?
Drew rested Baylor's top two scorers, and BU still won by almost 70.
A game vs. D-III this doesn't count in overall record or selection process, correct?

It is hard for a D1 team to play a game against a school I haven't heard of, but Baylor did it!

Re: Seriously Scott Drew & Baylor?
I thought Hardin-Simmons was an online business school.
