Well it seems as if anyone who thinks I was trolling yesterday can go and finish your crack. I knew how we played K State and Kansas...and only lost by pretty much a last minute three pointer in regulation...we should receive more votes. Some of you just need to think before you blab nonsense. It's not all based on wins...it's how you look sometimes.

But not, including how we looked at TTU? I'd guess the voters will take that into account more than you seem to.

Virginia Commonwealth and Norte Dame might get dropped. I think Creighton will probably find themselves on the edge of getting dropped. Wisconsin might get moved in after losing by two to MSU and beating Minn. Beyond that I think most everyone else around the bottom of the poll is going to hold steady.

Us losing at Tech was counter balanced by beating KSU at home. Keep in mind that this week KSU went from being a #11 team to probably being a #20 something team or so. That makes our win look less impressive.

If it's about how we look, then you should watch the Texas Tech game and think before you blab nonsense.

We didn't even look like a top 150 team. We should not receive more votes. Win out next week, and it's worth examining. That would be 3 good wins in a row.

Getting more votes after losing to Tech, think before you blab. That will not and should not happen.

Edit: Just to add on without quoting another dumb post: If we win in Stillwater, we won't be ranked until Monday. Losing on Saturday would erase the potential votes that the Stillwater win would gain.

It's not only about the rosy stuff that looks awesome. It's about the complete picture, good and bad.

Bumping this thread to ask IF the Cyclones take care of business on Monday vs. Oklahoma and on Saturday @ Kansas State, do they crack the Top 25 in the 2/11 poll?

ISU would be 17-6 (7-3), likely tied for 2nd in the conference.

I don't think so. I know OSU beat KU but we lost to them and TTU, both games we should have won and hurt our resume.

The only reason losing to OSU hurts our resume is because its another tick in the loss column. They could be ranked in the coaches poll this week.

I dont think losing at OSU hurts us at all, they will likely be ranked, come Monday. TTU, on the other hand...

If we beat OU and KSU and get some help with ranked teams losing there is a chance. I would guess we'd be in the top 30 at worst. Will be very tough to go 2-0 this week though.
