ISU Gets More Votes in Both Polls

ISU is moving up in its number of votes for both polls. We currently have 3 in the AP poll and 5 in the Coaches Poll. I figured, we'd tack on a couple more votes after this past week, but nothing too crazy.

Not sure who wouldn't assume we'd get more votes. Any team that wins two games even against ho hum teams rarely loses votes.

That's a lot of ground to cover. Not sure we'd be ranked if we won both unless we beat KSU pretty handily. A lot of the teams ahead of us would have to slip up.

I think we'll be in, but barely, if we win the next two. K-State is #11/13. A win over them would attract some attention. 15-4 (5-1) should be good for somewhere in the #22-25 range.

Now, if K-State beats Kansas Tuesday, then we beat K-State, I think we would take a huge jump with the voters.

I can see it now. We beat K-State and jump up to probably a top 20 ranking, then we get blown out by OkState and get dropped.

Kinda seems like this happened before...can't quite put my finger on it.

Hey, we are not at our best yet either.

Removing myself from the week-to-week viewpoint, I am completely pumped with where Fred is taking things. ISU basketball can, and should be, a top Big 12 program.
