Kansas St. close to a must-win now?

Need to get some wins to counter that stinker.

The KSU game won't totally get rid of it, but will help a little.

Curious how CFers rate this game on importance.

KSU at home was always a must win, regardless of what happened tonight, so is Baylor, OSU, OU, KU, etc. No matter what you protect your home floor. We sucked tonight. Saturday will give us an indication of where this team is truley at, until then, I hope they work hard in practice.

Absolutely have to finish in the top 5 of the big 12 if you want to make the tourney, and even 5th wouldn't be a lock. Need to beat KState. Can't count on any other wins because obviously the team picks and chooses when to show up so any game can be a loss.

I'm to the point where I wouldn't be confortable watching the selection show if we have a 12-6 conference record. This Tech loss is worse than any loss than last year.

With a bad loss like this, every game is now a must win. If we are on the bubble at the end of the year, this loss will likely pop it.

I think it's a must win if we realistically want a shot at 1st 2nd in the b12. KU will lose at least 1 more outside of Hilton. But we need to almost win out at a shot at being 1st (which is highly unlikely). We need Saturday to give ourselves a shot at 2nd. Bad game tonight, but definitely a leaning experience. Get back to work and bring it on Saturday. Hilton packed house is going to get our confidence boosted and shots will fall

I agree with some others; I think it was a must-win game even before tonight's suck-a-thon. If we had beaten Iowa tonight's loss wouldn't hurt so badly, but our lack of big wins in the non-conference gave us a very slim margin for error.
