Re: Players taking frustration out on Twitter
Come on.
Deeeeeep down. Everyone knows EIU wasn't going to be the teams "worst" loss of the season and there'd be a Big 12 loss that was technically worse.
I ******* hate that they lost tonight but I can take it like a man and get pumped to beat KSU. And every real fan should be able to too.
Sad but true but there probably wasn't a ranking coming in the next 2-3 weeks no matter what. The teams still in a drivers seat for a bid to the dance. Still hasn't lost at Hilton.
Ya it sucks but only some bytch ayse fairweather fan is gonna get worked up about tonights loss. It sucks but grow a pair, deal with it, and get behind them for K state.

They should feel like they deserved to lose and deserve to get a lot of heat for their efforts tonight. I would.
If I was on a team that lost to TT, I'd be apologizing to all the fans instead of ridiculing them. I'd apologize for the effort I put forth out there. That's the first step in getting better and improving. If you don't see that, then you will never get better. Aren't you the guy that thinks $15 games are too expensive to attend lol?
You probably think the team should not only drop 90 points on a conference opponent so you get your moneys worth but Naz Long should also come up to your seats and give you a hummer if he doesn't play 10 or more minutes since you paid 10 bucks to go to a game and sit in the last row...

Re: Players taking frustration out on Twitter
Here's the thing.....the players and coaches KNOW they sucked last night. They don't need us to tell them. They know it.
They also didn't show up yesterday and think "why not tank the entire game and lose it? What the heck?". They wanted to win.
They also don't have the luxery of focusing on this game for the next 3 days. They HAVE to prepare for Kansas State and they have to try and forget this.

Re: Players taking frustration out on Twitter
Yeah, I was scared sh1tless to see the online meltdown. Shame the fans can't just beat their wives instead of sending tweets to 20 year old kids about their expectations. That is why they have a coach. You are just a d-bag that touches themselves everytime Niang scores a basket.
In otherwards, get off twitter and stop harrassing the team. Let the coaches be coaches.

Re: Players taking frustration out on Twitter
I hope some of you "fans" will someday, or currently work for a boss who speaks to and about you the way you do the team and coach you presumably cheer for. I get the whole love/hate relationship thing, but please keep it between you and your therapist. NOT on a public message board.

If my one tweet adds fuel to their fire and helps motivate both Lucious and Clyburn Ill gladly accept any and all backlash. So should we just call you Tony Robbins, or Zig Ziegler? Stupidest thing in the world is to fire negative tweets at players after a tough loss.. I side with the players on this one.. If you want to say something negative to them have the balls to meet them outside of practice and say what's on you mind.

Re: Players taking frustration out on Twitter
I think social media has it's place, but when you are able to directly communicate with people you don't know like this, creates crap like this. Would these people stop KL at the store and say this to his face? If not, don't hide behind a screen (I guess the same could be said for message boards?).
I always thought it'd be great if someone like KL knew enough about this person (like say he works at Dairy Queen) and then tweeted away back, "Man, guy didn't even know how to put the little curl on the top of my ice cream cone, like he didn't even care."
BUT, if players are reading and taking stuff to heart/personally, they need to learn to protect tweets, etc.

Really? Really? This game sucked, but lets have some perspective.
